Bulaki depicts the story of a poor lady (Hira) who is humiliated by her in-laws for failing to have a child. Surakshaya Panta’s character depiction is unique and different, and fans are going crazy over her appearance in the film.
The film depicts the anguish of a woman living in the Karnali area. The older and traditional individuals are harsh towards the younger ones, which inhibits freedom and a fresh lifestyle to enjoy. The younger lady, in particular, must concentrate on livestock management, domestic chores, fieldwork, and so on. Surakshya is married to Naren in the picture, but they are unhappy since they are unable to have a child. Surakshya gets chastised by her inlaws as a result of this. She flees because she misses her partner’s love and devotion.
The Nepalese filmmakers are localizing the film’s production and tone, as is Bulaki director Laxman Sunar. The clothing, language, and way of life accurately represent the reality of the Karnali district’s residents. Surakshya Panta, Naren Khadka, Biraz Bista, Saraswati Khatri, and Prakash Kandel star in the film. Laxmi Giri, Shusil Pokharel, Ramesh Budhathoki, Kuldip Adhikari, Upashana Nembang, Jhalanath Khatri, and Sonu Sedai are among those who have participated. Bulaki will be released in theaters on April 14, 2023.
