The Corona outbreak has forced the closure of many Nepalese movie theaters. Meanwhile, Deepak Raj Giri, the producer and artist of the ‘Chhakka Panja’ series, and Deepa Shree Niraula’s group are building a multiplex cinema hall with an estimated expenditure of Rs 90 million.
In New Baneshwor, the team is preparing to open a cinema hall with two auditoriums in a building on Shankhamul Road. Four hundred people will be able to enjoy movies together in a hall with two screens. The entire building work on the hall is expected to be completed by Chaitra 2078, according to Deepak Raj Giri.
Previously, the organization was planning to open a hall outside Kathmandu valley. However, they chose the capital since investing out of the valley so soon after the Corona pandemic would be risky.
