The dream has finally come true. Khagendra Lamichhane, who was previously recognized for his excellent writing and acting, is now making his directorial debut with the film Paaniphoto. Mr. Lamichhane has always wanted to direct a film, and via this Nepali film, he is directing his own novel, Paaniphoto. This film narrates the story of parents who are looking for their son, who went missing over a decade and a half ago during the Maoist People’s War.

According to actor/writer/director Khagendra Lamichhane, we can genuinely sense so much of the emotions and love in the exhibited motion poster, and we can’t wait to witness the entire movie on the big screen.
Khagendra Lamichhane, Anup Baral, Menuka Pradhan, Prakash Ghimire, Maotse Gurung, Buddhi Tamang, Malika Mahat, and Ashant Sharma act in the film. The film is co-produced by Rojina Sitaula and Rabindra Bajracharya and produced by Tuki Arts and Manjushree Films. The production team intends to release the Paaniphoto film on July 29, 2022, and we are really thrilled about it. Yes, that was the first day and the first show.
