Purna (Bijay Baral) hails from a poor family, plays Sarangi, and sings around the countryside to support himself and his family. Bire is a youthful and active guy who enjoys playing Sarangi while providing for his family’s basic requirements. He is a very traditional man who does not exhibit any soul characteristics. As a result, he finds Purna and his family quite bothersome and upsetting. He counsels his and Purna’s children to abandon the educational road rather than carry on the family’s tradition as Sarangi players. Bire’s unsettling proposal sparks a major disagreement between Bire and Purna’s family.
Mukun Bhusal portrays one of the finest roles in his cinematic career. We get the impression that he is fully immersed in the character based on how he presents it. His dialogues and expressions bring a great deal of attention to his performance. We can entirely relate to the character’s performance since we see a typical gentleman who cannot foresee the future.
