Tel Visa Movie Story
Gaurav (Bipin Karki) and Bandana (Barsha Raut) have been blissfully married for several years and are expecting their first child shortly. Bandana is relaxing at home since she is pregnant, while Gaurav is working over 15 hours per day to pay off the mortgage and establish a liquor business. Bandana desires to return to work after giving birth to the kid, so Gaurav plans to bring his family from Nepal to the United States to care for their baby.
It is extremely challenging for any Nepali to obtain a visa to the United States, but Gaurav’s mother, Radha (Pooja Chand), obtains one and travels to the United States to visit her son and daughter-in-law after years apart. Radha comes from a remote part of Nepal, thus she encounters many obstacles and challenges while in the United States. She could not grasp the language, culture, and laws of the United States, which resulted in significant legal complications.

Bipin Karki plays the major role in the film Tel Visa. He plays dual characters, Gaurav, the son, and Surya, the father. Gaurav left Nepal to establish himself in the United States, made possible by his father, Surya’s financial backing. Surya, a retired major, is living the greatest years of his life in rural Nepal, but Gaurav is fighting to make ends meet in the United States. It appears that young people have neglected to enjoy their lives while they are establishing themselves.
In the film Tel Visa, Bipin Karki plays two characters: Gaurav and Surya, who are son and father. Both characters appear to be very different in nature; Gaurav is a disillusioned and low-life character, whilst Surya is an elderly and active character in the film. Bipin expertly represented the role and brought justice to it. His demeanor exemplifies how a father would go to any length to make his kid happy and affluent whereas a son values his family above all else. Every emotional buddle causes viewers to cry and sympathize. Overall, Bipin provided one of the best performances in cinema, leaving his admirers delighted and satisfied after viewing the film.
Barsa Raut plays the character Bandana in the film Tel Visa. Bandana is a frustrated character who is pregnant and frequently has mood swings with her family. She adores her spouse, but various misconceptions and obligations cause significant tensions within the family. When her in-laws and sister meet with her, she becomes enraged due to unbearable emotions. Regardless, she encourages her spouse to pursue his ambition of settling in the United States.
In the film Tel Visa, she played an arrogant and violent pregnant lady and delivered an excellent performance. While seeing her act, it feels like a regular housewife punching family members with headache phrases when things don’t go as planned. In that regard, Barsha’s effort is laudable and has captured the hearts of the public. It’s a pleasure to see her in such a serious role in the film Tel Visa.
Richa Ghimire plays the character Annapurna in the film Tel Visa. Annapurna is a lawyer and a single mother who is pursuing her profession while supporting her child. She has done well in life despite being abandoned by her family and spouse in her early years. She shines wonderfully, hoping to make an influence in her life eventually. As a lawyer, she has won several cases and hearts; but, she fails to form a wonderful tie with her family and siblings.
Richa Ghimire returns to the industry after years in the Nepali film industry, and it is a memorable experience to see her on the big screen. Her adventurous attitude and ferocious appearance provide spice to the film’s narrative. Her offbeat language and court drama scenes make viewers fall in love with her. She gets less screen time, but she contributes significantly to the film’s greater story telling. Wonderful performance!
Pooja Chand plays Radha, a powerful supporting major role in the film Tel Visa. Radha is Surya’s wife and the mother of Gaurav in the film. Radha is a kind, innocent person who enjoys showing love and care to those she cares about. She doesn’t discriminate since she understands the significance of love and respect. When she travels to the United States to support her son and daughter-in-law, she encounters cultural and linguistic difficulties, making her life difficult. She is in jail because she violated the country’s laws and regulations.
Pooja Chand’s gorgeous and emotional trip had people in tears and sobbing throughout the auditorium. Pooja presented a forceful and dramatic persona that the Nepalese population can completely understand. As a mother, she has thrived and shined via her motherly performance, which includes beginner character presentation. Overall, her passionate and emotive performance touched the hearts of the crowd.
Direction & Story Telling
Shanker Ghimire is the writer and director of the movie Tel Visa. He has done an excellent job of offering an emotional drama film to Nepali moviegoers. The premise is basic, but the performers keep the viewer engaged with the flow of the film. The filmmaker chose a popular issue among the Nepalese upper-class population and provided an excellent canvas that connected with the audience. Mr. Shanker Ghimire’s passionate directing and execution captured the hearts of the theatrical audience.
Sushan Prajapati shot the film. He did a decent job capturing the film’s moments. The night and wide visuals are excellently caught, with their rusty and contrasty nature. The cinematic presentation appears serial and appealing to the audience. Sushan Prajapati’s attempt is stunning.
Movie Verdict
Tel Visa is a lovely family movie with much of emotional delight. With a peek of beautiful narrative and passionate acting, the film is able to connect with spectators. The film may feel melodramatic in certain places, but the second half of the film keeps the viewer engaged and excited by the flow of the plot. It’s a stunning film that you shouldn’t miss in the theater.
