Badri Bahadur is a comedy-drama movie that shows how loyalty and bravery affect the lives of others. Shovit Basnet worked hard to deliver his best, but the audience anticipated more from the film.

In the work, Mr. Badri falls in love with Ami (Chhultim Gurung) from their first meeting and always flirts with her at work.

Badri Bahadur Movie Cast & Performance
Jay Kishan Basnet plays the film’s major humorous role, Badri Bahadur. Mr. Badri is a competent and bold individual who values honesty and loyalty to his tasks and obligations. He takes care of what he values most. If something disturbs him or his loved ones, he will take the appropriate steps to resolve the situation. Jay Kishan plays the key role with ease. He did his best, however, the character may be improved in terms of storyline. Some of his lighthearted expressions provide humor to the film, but others do not contribute to the character development. We hope his forthcoming films showcase the finest version of Jay Kishan Basnet.
Chhultim Gurung portrays Ami, the front desk officer/cashier at the hotel. Ami appears as Badri Bahadur’s love interest in the film. She is intrigued about her obligations, but she doesn’t have anything to convey other than work. Chhultim Gurung did what she could in the film Badri Bahadur, yet her performance is underwhelming. Although she is a lovable figure, one misses the emotional bundle in her performance. We hope she does well in her forthcoming endeavors.
Rajiv Jung Basnet portrays Saman, in a supporting role. In the film, Saman is a courageous character who runs a reputable hotel. He recently completed his hotel management degree and has returned to his hometown to carry on his parents’ heritage. He encounters several challenges and threats in his new environment from the moment he arrives. Mr. Rajiv Jung Basnet makes his Nepalese film debut with Badri Bahadur. He did his best in his first film, but he has to improve in terms of tandem delivery and body language. We hope he comes across as the finest version of himself in his upcoming films.
Direction & Story Telling
Mr. Shovit Basnet developed and directed the movie Badri Bahadur. According to the making-of-picture, the movie requires significant growth and development in terms of storytelling. Most notably, there is room for improvement in Ram Kaji Ghimire’s writing and script. While the viewer watches the film, the character’s development fails to depict a captivating tale narration, losing the film’s fundamental attraction. Because of the film’s inadequate character development, spectators are unable to identify with the characters’ journeys and performances. As viewers, we wish the filmmakers the best of luck in their future endeavors.
Movie Verdict
Badri Bahadur is a nice attempt by filmmaker Shovit Basnet to deliver a comedy-drama, but fans expect more. The film’s story appears to be enjoyable, however the screenplay and narrative require some improvisation. Furthermore, the character arcs may be modified to provide an engaging performance. If you like comedic dramas, you might enjoy the Badri Bahadur movie in the cinema.
