Kausid movie demonstrates how the corrupt system destroys society’s honest and truthful citizens. The filmmakers attempt to deliver authentic cinema to Nepali moviegoers, yet it appears inadequate.
Kausid Movie Story
Regmi Sir (Bholaraj Sapkota) is a small government school’s honest and faithful principal. He adheres to strict principles and ideals everywhere he goes. Despite having solid morals, he does not earn enough money to build a house, so his wife, Radha (Reecha Sharma) urges him hard to build their dream house.
When the family celebrates a birthday, the house owner makes a snide remark about not paying rent on time. As a result of this, Radha desires to move into their own home. Radha and Regmi Sir utilized land as security and obtained a bank loan to build their dream home. Finally, they move into their ideal home and take in the fresh air of happiness.
However, it takes a lot of pressure for a teacher to pay a large amount of loan monthly. Similarly, repaying the bank’s money becomes a major burden for the Regmi family. It causes a lot of pain and pressure on the whole family.
Kausid Movie Cast & Performance
Bholaraj Sapkota (Regmi Sir) has done what he can to represent the local school principal and a good father/husband. The expression he uses of being in difficulties builds a stronger connection in the protagonist’s journey. It is quite tough for a house leader to operate a house with a single earnings stream that is successfully implemented through Regmi’s performance. Bholaraj brings this character to life in the film Kausid with a strong performance. Amazing work!
Reecha Sharma (Radha) plays an innocent and loving homemaker. She effortlessly portrays her persona. We enjoy her performance when her brother drags her into the mess with lies and treachery. Reecha also embodies the spirit of woman empowerment by declaring that women should not be restricted to domestic duties but should instead pursue other opportunities to boost their future earnings. Overall, Reecha’s effort in the film is noteworthy. Excellent work!

Direction & Story Telling
Kumar Bhaskar, the filmmaker, attempts to bring to light a typical and familiar experience of many Nepali families nowadays. However, for great tale narration, the film needs a solid storyline and conflicts. Even if the film’s theme is adequate, Kausid falls short of writing a lovely script. The creators of the film, Nawa Bijaya Prakash Shrestha and Dhirjan Thapaliya fail to establish any suspense in the protagonist’s life, resulting in a weak and plodding tale. We expect to see more fantastic films from the Kausid crew in the near future.
