Prem Geet 3 is an original Nepali film narrative starring Pradeep Khadka and Kristina Gurung. The late filmmaker Chhetan Gurung’s singularity and dramatic storytelling provide Nepali filmmaking with a fresh perspective. And we enjoy it.
Prem Geet 3 Movie Story:
This is a straightforward narrative about two princes from the Himalayan kingdom of Khajak, Aman, and Prem. Prem, the King’s younger son, is helpful and gentle, whereas Aman is arrogant and angry. Prem has been leading and winning cases from training to fighting, so Aman is unhappy. Prem also receives greater attention and devotion as the royal family’s younger son; even the king believes Prem to be the country’s future king. After hearing all of this, Aman pledges to defy the royal family and become the next king.
Prem Geet 3 Movie Cast & Performance:
Pradeep Khadka, who plays the role of Prem, is the film’s main actor. Pradeep Khadka does his best to live up to his reputation. Prem, as we know from earlier renditions of Prem Geet, is a kind-hearted and supportive character, and this image reflects that mindset. Several aspects of the discussion should have been delivered better by Pradeep Khadka. Pradeep did an outstanding job in the picture.
Kristina Gurung makes her acting debut in Prem Geet 3. Geet has a strong screen presence in this role. In the film, she is shown as a lovely and kind-hearted woman who is well-liked by the entire neighborhood. Kristina’s first film did an amazing job of evoking his emotions. However, for her forthcoming film, she will need to work on her line delivery and acting skills.
Manish Raut makes his acting debut as an antagonist in Prem Geet 3. Manish plays Aman, a rough and haughty character. Manish worked hard to convey the role throughout the film, however, we feel his dialogue delivery abilities might be improved. He does a fantastic job justifying the character.
Puskar Karki offers one of the best antagonist performances in the film. Puspa, Aman’s mentor and close friend, is played by Puskar. Puspa’s wit and talent with words allow him to effortlessly influence his opponent. And Puskar has done an outstanding job of supporting and justifying the position. His performance was superb.
Laxmi Bardewa also has a key part in the film. She becomes an astrologer with the capacity to see into the future. She uses her talents to reveal the truth, and the truth is more expensive to her. Laxmi has a small screen presence but delivers an outstanding performance.
In the film, Shiva Shrestha plays the character of a king. He’s disagreeable and egotistical, and instead of assisting the community, he performs horrible things. For the length of their stay in the community, he steals a big amount of farm or anything precious from the villager. If the peasants did not contribute enough, they would be penalized. Shiva Shrestha portrays both a furious king and a loving father in the film.
Direction & Story Telling:
Prem Geet 3 has a simple storyline and might have been a fantastic film. The film was co-directed by Chhetan Gurung and Santosh Sen, however, there is still room for growth in terms of a deeper narrative and character development. The language in the first half of the film is fantastic, but the sequences are uninteresting because of the limited direction viewpoint. However, we must applaud their efforts to create fresh and distinctive stories in Nepali films.
Movie Verdict:
The Prem Geet 3 film has worked really hard to present the Nepalese cinema audience with one of the greatest and most distinctive films. The film’s best elements are the noises, music, and cinematography, and the director’s vision in the plot is impressive. Wonderful job!
